Can't place heroes for war Defense

Can't place my champs in war. Everytime I go to the place heroes screen, my game freezes. It was not doing that a couple hours ago

    I’m having a similar issue, all the alliance defenders disappeared from the battle groups and I’m getting this message when I try to place them again: “Defender placement is not available at this time, try again later”
    It’s happening since 2 days ago, basically after the war season.
