Why is the pride event so mid?

I don’t want to debate or talk about the premise of the event, not worth discussing here at all.

My problem with the event is we get what 6 “Cav” crystals. Realistically just ISO, but at least give us selectors.

Would’ve loved to see paragon crystals, some straight up 6* shards or just better rewards in general. The titles and profile pics are a nice touch but 500k for the top milestone equates to 100 fights (ignoring all the level/rank up bonuses), why couldn’t we get some 7* shards or something else spicy to incentivise players to complete this event?

Wasn’t supposed to be a big event. Just a nice bonus. Also it was great that they were 4-6* it means for lower tiers you can get lucky and for higher tiers iso.

If you dupe a 6* you get 7* shards

Idk if feels more like “oh we have to do something for pride let’s put all the profile pics back and run some tiny event” which is a little disappointing. Could’ve done a bigger progression based event with some good rewards sprinkled in but nah minimum effort it is:

It's aiming to be an inclusive event for players at all game-levels, so you don't really want meta rewards.

On the other hand, a really nice incentive that would give zero in-game advantage would be some kind of rainbow-themed Emote.

Suggestion for next year..?

considering how butt-hurt some got (over OPTIONAL and FREE stuff), it would be SOOOOO much worse if the rewards were solid.
