Apparently, we can't punish defender's sps or heavy anymore

    never noticed the double medium parry issue much until this bg season where black cat (one of the better thing counter) was constantly getting blocked just before sp2 which made it impossible to apply the sabotage debuff and making the fight longer. once i had a time out against a rank 1 7* thing with my 6* r2 cat ( i usually end tht in 55 secs)

    One example I saw recently was in one of Andy’s streams a few days ago which was very soon after the update. He was using Hulkling vs serpent, and he went for the typical rotation of unblockable into sp2 which pushed serpent to his sp3. Except when he tried to throw the relic while still unblockable, the ai was able to get an sp3 off before he could use the relic, even though the entire stream could see the relic button flickering 2-3 times first from him tapping it.

    This happened 3 times in the same fight. He pushed serpent red, went for the relic, got promptly ignored and ate an sp3 because somehow the ai could get it off before his relic.

    I believe kabam when they say “we haven’t changed the ai.” I don’t think they’ve tried to change it, but what I don’t believe is that the ai hasn’t changed at all. Constant reparries didn’t used to happen, being able to throw an sp3 before you can use a relic definitely didn’t used to happen, and the general speed of their reaction time didn’t used to be this fast.

    Had a an issue yesterday where I was using Odin vs Photon. I backed up into the corner so I could get some reliable heavies off in AW. Bait her heavy, punish with mine. Yeah, didn't work. She managed to throw her heavy...in the time it took me to release my heavy, she does a short dash back into an sp1 (a la Ghost's sp2).

    Tried twice more during the fight and was unsuccessful both times. Over the past month, I have resorted to playing everyone like they are stun immune. Champs with projectile specials, I don't bother punishing anymore. Not worth the risk.

    I believe they HAVE changed the AI. Their statements regarding all these "bugs" are rarely what they actually are. Mods leaving the game in quick succession is probably because they knew the truth and couldn't keep feeding us with those "statements".

    I've recorded my AW showcase fights and I'm going to post them online so people know exactly the kind of nonsense that's being dished out.
