Timing of eligibility for BG rewards when switching alliances

On June 12th, the current BG season ends AND the new war season begins. If we stay in our alliance until the clock runs out on the BG season, but then exit before rewards drop so we can switch alliances - do we still get the alliance rewards for the BG season? How does this timing work out for players who are wanting to move alliances but not lose out on all the effort they put into the current BG season?

No, you need to be in the alliance when they drop. You need to have been in an alliance for 7 days.

So you have roughly one day to switch alliances and qualify for BG rewards with the new alliance. If you want BG rewards from your current alliance, you will need to move during the AW season.
