Here's some other causes you may want to root for- Kyrofelonoshophobia: An extreme fear of cartoon characters.
Grammaphobia is the fear of letters of the alphabet.
Crystallophobia is the fear of crystal or glass. Sufferers would not touch or even look at crystals.
Guess Kabam has a lot of work to do.
You're not wrong, but you don't have to be a jerk about it. Most posts I have seen that come from you have a tone that is much less than kind. Kind of like Walter in the Big Lebowski.
So many posters have linked to Kabam's statement on posts (https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/54/forum-rules-please-read-prior-to-posting) and mentioned your lack of tact in the matter, and yet you seem to purposefully ignore it in favor of just continuing to argue "how you are right and OP is wrong." You can both acknowledge a better way of communicating (especially since this is an International game, where English tone and phrasing might not be second nature), while still being correct about your argument.
Game accessibility is very much an ongoing work in progress in video games. While I don't think Kabam needs to specifically create an accessibility feature for "Reversed control nodes", Kabam admits that some content can be impossible for some individuals with certain accessibility requirements (https://playcontestofchampions.com/news/alternate-progression-paths/)
If we look at western society in general, we see how catering and pandering to minority groups’ sense of entitlement has caused an issue.
As much as I empathize with these genuine concerns, it is pretty much impossible for a company to design content catering to a very small minority.
Should have just limited yourself to the second paragraph. The first paragraph is unnecessary and so wrong.
It’s true though, as much as it might sound offensive. We just need to, as a global society in general, be more accepting of different views and understand that nothing can be perfect. Trying to please everyone usually becomes pleasing no one.
What you call as pandering and catering to minority groups is just building in safe guards for them so they are not abused/persecuted as they have been for generations. Everyone on this thread is actually voicing their different views with some degree of respect to others(except demon). I don’t want this to turn into a political discussion but throwing words around without either lacking understanding or having personal biases against issues faced by others is totally uncalled for.
I got recked the first couple attempt at this. But as I continued to work through it, I started getting better at reverse controls. I think that’s the point of the challenge. I understand the desire for easier content with reverse controls just to practice, but this is it. You go straight to the challenge, don’t have to go through any other quest. It’ll cost some energy to keep practicing, but it’s worth it

Nothing in the comment I said breaks ToS.
I don't know if you actually read the article you posted but it doesn't say because of accessibility. They specifically say because players choose to tackle other content first. These are not the same as having a cognitive issue with reverse controls.
I'm sympathetic to people with real issues. I would take this more seriously if it was a constant conversation. As I've said dozens of times already, reverse controls isn't new. OP claims to have always wanted to talk about but never has. OP also posted a link claiming it says something it doesn't, just like you, so you have that in common.
You guys want to come at me so hard that you didn't even read my first comment. I didn't say you suck at reverse controls, I said it's a long story to say they suck at it.
I suck at it. I hate the node. I have lots and lots of trouble with it and I'll probably spend lots of resources on this fight. But I'm not going to come here and make up fake illnesses to get a node changed for a fight that will only be in the game for 2 weeks.

At some point I just ignore what he says. He seems to not have the right attitude. Occasionally, our emotions get the better of us at time but for him, it’s its own topic.
In all comments, I haven’t even mentioned removing the node just for the small group. I’ve said many will learn how to deal with it, and Kabam should not reserved it for end game content. I’ve played with many, who takes certain bosses and fights. I know their skill level, for some reason they just can’t adapt to it.
One can argue, that’s the whole point of the challenge: to do the opposite of what you practice everyday. I believe, the very things people know how to, expand on that. If you want people to use reverse controls, make it a “common practice”. However, that’s not the case, it only pops up in the most difficult contents. The Act 6 references, people haven’t forgotten the difficult level of Act 6 when it was release. Also, we had alternatives. What did most people do, used the alternatives.
Some say Onslaught, last week was more difficult than Gwenpool this week. Of course, this is relative. And many have said this is a skill issue. However, in my chats, the same individuals that threw 15+ revives on this week boss used 2, 3 revives on Onslaught, some even solo.
If I could fulfil the objective of making difficult contents and at the same time catering to the needs of a few, I’d do that.
I really don't get it if summoner doesn't have skills then why they desire for big reward. They can just skip the game content. This end game content not a story, event or side quest. This should be hard so that not everyone gets it.
Fight isn't so hard I am very bad at reverse control but after some practice. I got 1 solo with kingpin and took gwen down in 1 revive with bullseye.

Building in safe guards makes sense. Going overboard with it, doesn’t. I live in a country where there are 4 main races (and many minority ones) who live, literally, side by side with each other, respect and honor each other’s customs, tolerate our differences, and treat everyone like fellow countrymen.
We don’t see differences as points of segregation, nor do we see any historical abuse/persecution as a reason for privilege or entitlement of anyone. We judge people based on their individual merits.
Likewise, the game is developed this way. If you’re good enough, you’ll be able to, based on your own individual abilities, attain rewards.
If someone isn’t able to complete certain aspects of the game, regardless of disorders/fears etc, then it’s on them to understand that some content cannot be done by them, accept that reality and not expect the game, or world, to bend around them.
Should they really want the rewards, then they should put in the effort, practise and get better. Despite that, if they are still unable to complete it, then face the fact that they aren’t that good and live with it, not cry that things should be made easier for them because they are entitled to the rewards too.
It is this sense of entitlement that irks me. This applies to the real world too. There are many people who think they are entitled to everything others have, and expect those to be made easily available to them without going through the work/effort that others have.

Different people just have different kryptonites.
What makes those who used 0,1,2,3 revives on Onslaught more special that they deserve to use less revives on Gwenpool for the same rewards?
