Prowlers rotation….

I’m sure this has been discussed in regards to prowlers cycle being a problem to line up properly. So my question is … will Kabam rebalance him to simplify his rotation? I’ve been playing this game off and on for 7 years now and the fact that I struggle with his rotation then how is somebody that’s new to game going to understand it? It’s just unfortunate that prowler is just meh unless you do his rotation correctly.
(Rant)This game is becoming more and more challenging with all the nodes, challenging defenders and now having to know all these rotations for these champs. Personally I think kabam is failing, especially this year. They are putting out cool champs but they are all just average. I really don’t want to set traps or do a crazy rotation to get good damage. We have old champs that are simple and do crazy good damage but it does get boring using the same old champ. I guess what I’m saying is simplicity is sometimes a good thing. Sometimes it’s fun just smashing the screen without thinking “oh yeah I forgot to do this or that”… I don’t imagine I’m the only one who thinks like this?

Here's a good video on him by @BitterSteel:
TLDR short fight rotation:
1) Get the opponent over a bar, bait special.
2) Get to your sp2, bait another special, medium-medium-heavy-sp2.
Detailed Explanation:
1)
Prowler drains 100% of the opponents power after they launch a special. So, if they have 1.9 bars of power and launch an sp1, they lose all 1.9 bars instead of just 1 bar. His dmg is tied to this as the amount of excess power drained = prowler charges. 1.9 bars ~ 29 charges out of 30 max. He also power locks them for a few seconds afterwards.
2)
His main dmg source is the rupture dmg from sp2 while the opponent is faltered. There is a way to amplify this burst further by placing an incinerate on the opponent which will cause all ruptures to explode upon expiration, which is extra dmg.
There are 2 components at play here: falter and incinerate.
To falter the opponent, you need to end your combo with a medium. With prowler's sig, he gains a big crit rating boost while the opponent is faltered. Prowler can't crit naturally, so whenever he is supposed to crit he places a rupture dealing that extra crit dmg. So falter = more crits on sp2 = more ruptures on sp2.
To place an incinerate on the opponent, prowler needs to heavy an opponent who is at 0 power. Which seems kinda specific and sounds like you need to line it up perfectly, but its much simpler in practice because of his 100% power drain after specials. You let the opponent throw a special, their power is drained, you throw medium-medium while they are power locked at 0, which places a falter so you are able to just chain a heavy to place an incinerate and cancel into sp2 for the burst.
As stated above it’s more of an ongoing frustration for me personally and how this year has been with MCOC
Thanks again for your breakdown.
1) Get opponent over a bar, bait special.
2) Parry heavy after they've thrown their special.
3) Get to your sp2, medium-medium-sp2.
You can just parry heavy anytime after they've thrown a special. They'll be at 0 power and you get the incinerate. His incinerates last decently long, usually enough to get to an sp2. Then it's just medium-medium-sp2. You can even use the sentinel relic to pause and lengthen this incinerate debuff slightly.
Here's another rotation if you would still like to give him a go:
1) Get opponent over a bar, bait special.
2) Parry heavy after they've thrown their special.
3) Get to your sp2, medium-medium-sp2.

I’ll give this a try and let you know. Thanks for the advice!
