Bg matchmaking is unreal

I'm trying to push dimond in bgs so I can get more 7* and I'm only at gold 5 , already consistently facing valiant and legend players
I'm a new paragon with 2 6s r4 and 5 7*
And I hit my celling at diamond 2 last season so
why did I hit it already at gold 5??

Everyone dropped down because of the bug, and since it's the first week, there's a bubble of players climbing back up...

You're in the bubble...

Not new for me, once i exceed Diamond IV, it is my regular BGs track record for me.

BGs is bugged...

Higher tiered players had to start lower this season because of the bug...

Since higher tierd players had to start lower, you're facing more higher tierd players in lower tiers...

Since everyone had to start lower in general because of the bug, a bubble of players formed as everyone tries to reach higher tiers...

The bubble will dissipate within a few days as higher tiered players make their way back up the ladder...

You can either (a) keep fighting it out with everyone else, or (b) wait a few days for the bubble to dissipate when higher tiered players work their way out of the lower tiers and into the higher tiers...

Absolutely you can play the game,..but if it’s battlegrounds this early in the season coupled with the situation everyone is in you have to expect tough matchups.
Point is there is still 24 days left in the season to acquire the 7 star and titan crystal shards.
If you are Paragon you will also get a 7 star crystal from the push further calendar in just a few days.
Take a deep breath and relax,…there is no rush.
