I am not able to awaken The Serpent (BUG)

Today I pulled The Serpent twice but when I checked my roster, it shows him as unawakened.
My suspicions that this is a bug was further confirmed when I tried to use an awakening gem on him but failed.
Is there anyone else facing the same bug? I’ve already reported about this bug to customer/tech support but I thought I should share about it here too!
Update: Never mind. I logged out from the game and logged in again and now it shows him as awakened.
