Shuri vs Domino interaction

Shuri's abilities are not supposed to fail against domino from what I've read and an alliance member using her for even longer also clearly stated it. However I took critical failure damage.

It’s a very weird interaction but yes.
This happens to all champs.

U used the Relic ?? That's probably where it happened
