Unable to submit verification code for in game purchases

When I try to make in game purchases with the card in my Apple wallet I get asked to put in a verification code. Before I enter the code the word verify is grey in the top r/ hand corner of the page. When I enter the 6 digit code the verify in the right top corner turns blue. When I touch it nothing happens. The other words in blue are “back” and “didn’t get a code?” When I touch or push on them the they respond, but the verify doesn’t respond at all and I can’t make my purchases. I took my phone to the brick and mortar Verizon store where I got my phones and when I showed them they said it was a site issue. I’ve missed out on a lot of sales already and just not having the summoner Sigil is like being stuck in second gear. Please tell me this can be fixed without me risking my account
