Agreed. Unless you have spare cores already stacked and saved from legends crystals or somewhere else, don't spend your units on them. progress through content instead.

For rank ups, I'd say Doom, Apoc and Sinister, though warlock, absman and torch would be good as well.

Is sinister finally good? Haven't really tried him post buff as I just got back to the game. Also is apoc really a must r4? A lot of his utility comes from synergies, right?

I used Apoc a ton in act 7 and 8, and my Abyss runs. He does great by himself without synergies, great damage, especially when ramped up, and can heal with his sig (so if you take block damage, he's good for that). He has a huge health pool that obviously increases even more with rank. His immunity to disorient as well as incinerate comes in handy in several lanes for later acts, but I can't remember which ones. His concussion on sp2 is also good to have as well for certain fights.

Sinister is amazing now. He can heal rapidly from holding heavy (assuming you have willpower). I use him a ton in incursions, AA and BG. I haven't used him for story content yet, but I'm sure he's great there too.

However, I'm sure others will have different opinions on who to rank.

Thanks for the info man, I will for sure check out sinister now. Apoc was my first 6*, and my first r2 and r3 so might as well lol. Great champ, really enjoyed him in act 6 and thronebreaker monthly quests

Sinister, absman and knull. Because sinister can carry you through alot with his regen and rarely dies, absman has a ton of utility and knull is bleed and degen resistant, counters evade and auto block, huts like a truck and is the coolest looking champ going.
