Why isn’t the Leader immune to reverse controls?

With his super intellect and psionic powers similar to Professor X and Mr Sinister, why isn’t he immune because I thought he would be.

By the way, which other champions should be immune to reverse controls but aren’t currently?

Fairly simple. Read his abilities, and you will find out that he does not have such ability. That's why he isn't immune to reverse controls.

My reason is that with more champs that have reverse controls (ex: Nameless Grandmaster), and mechanics coming along, more champs should be immune to it. And in theory, it makes sense that anyone with psionic powers should be immune

Just because they got psionic powers doesn't mean they should automatically be reverse control immune. Let's take a look at comics for example. Emma frost is a super strong telepath yes? But compared to prof x, he dog walks her if he chooses to. Put simply, no one is immune to absolutely everything at all times.

True, Proff X > Emma Frost but even then she has a synergy that allows for her to be immune.

There are only 2 champions in the game that have the ability to apply reverse controls Emma Frost and Knull.... Mr Negative applies Delirium which is a different form of reverse controls. All of these champs are years old. So where is the "more champs coming" coming from?

They've added more champs that are immune to it than they have champs that apply it.

And there's already at least 13 champions immune. Again, you're posting to post. You love interacting with the community and that's great. But we don't need more "why is this champ not immune to" threads just because. There are other champions that have physic powers and aren't immune. If he's not immune that Kabam with the approval from Marvel didn't want him to be.

To put a finer point on this, the answer is “because game balance.”

If you wanted to get super accurate about everything, every champ in the game should be able to inflict bleed, concussion, and any number of effects that just happen because you hit things. But that would make for an insane and bad game. So Kabam doesn’t do that.

I don’t want to jump to any conclusions on a champion who’s not even out yet, but if there are any problems with Leader, lack of utility is not one I can foresee. And certainly not lack of extremely niche utility.
