Why isn’t the Leader immune to reverse controls?

With his super intellect and psionic powers similar to Professor X and Mr Sinister, why isn’t he immune because I thought he would be.
By the way, which other champions should be immune to reverse controls but aren’t currently?

Fairly simple. Read his abilities, and you will find out that he does not have such ability. That's why he isn't immune to reverse controls.
My reason is that with more champs that have reverse controls (ex: Nameless Grandmaster), and mechanics coming along, more champs should be immune to it. And in theory, it makes sense that anyone with psionic powers should be immune
Example:
"Why doesn't Kabam nerf Kingpin?" Because they don't.
They've added more champs that are immune to it than they have champs that apply it.
[A] Because of "mastery of the Arcane arts"
[Q] Then why isn't Doctor Strange immune to reversed controls?
[A] ....left the chat....
To your other question - Psylocke and Cap Britain are not reversed control immune, despite the latter literally having the phrase "Psionic mode" in her kit.
The answer to the question of "Why does X not have X" is always "Because Kabam/Marvel decided not to."
If you wanted to get super accurate about everything, every champ in the game should be able to inflict bleed, concussion, and any number of effects that just happen because you hit things. But that would make for an insane and bad game. So Kabam doesn’t do that.
I don’t want to jump to any conclusions on a champion who’s not even out yet, but if there are any problems with Leader, lack of utility is not one I can foresee. And certainly not lack of extremely niche utility.
