Battleground New Season

I am kinda confused so when new season starts where will we be starting it from? All the way from the beginning or where we left the last season.

Neither. You lose two whole tiers after a season, so if you finished in Gold you'll start in Bronze, Plat will start you in Silver, etc. This season was just wonky and everyone started way farther back than they should've.

This is how it’s always been, except last seasons there weren’t as many ranks in between each Tier.

at the start yes, but the people beating you will progress to higher tiers while weaker accounts who started below you will progress up

There will also be fewer of them, as many will go back to ignoring bg or just playing their 3 matches for trophy tokens with the deathless piece no longer in play.
