Arcade Saga Gems and Sig Stones in the unit store...was this a data test?

When X-Magica saga began, they had the 1k unit packs with 7* Saga stones and 3-4 & 4-5 Saga gems for a few thousand more, as well as the 7* Saga crystals for 10k(?) I believe (the ones that were $90 in the webstore). These seemed to stay in the store for a couple weeks, then went away, then were brought back again. I ended up grabbing some of the sig stone packs their last rotation in the store.
Now, when Arcade saga began, they did the same thing but with all the Arcade materials. I want to say this only lasted a week and has yet to come back at all, and we're about to be into the 3rd month of the saga.
I'm assuming the sales of these offers didn't bring the volume of purchases they wanted, thus they shortened the period with which you could get all the Arcade stuff (only a week at the start of saga and that's it)? I was hoping they'd come back again, as the sig stone packs were a decent buy if you had the extra units, especially with a couple of Arcade saga champs wanting high sig.
