New Crucible Event not showing up

Guys, I came back to the game last month after 5 years. I'm a Cavalier. This new Crucible event or any new Event not showing in the Special quest tab. Is it normal?

Have you updated the game? Also, what's your progression? Odds are you have a lot of work to do before a lot of things show up.

I highly doubt it’s available for cav considering this is content they haven’t gone through in story yet. Probably paragon and higher only

It's your progression then. Like Nemesis noted, it probably isn't available for Cav. Probably have to get to at least Thronebreaker or maybe even Paragon.

At higher progressions yes. You’re missing grandmaster’s gauntlet, eternity of pain, shooting stars, necropolis and crucible. All of them are only for tb or higher

There are, but you need to be Thronebreaker or higher to access them.
Time to go finish Act 6 and R3 some 6* champs. Plus side for you, they've nerved Act 6 into the ground so it will be a lot easier than when you left.

Once you get Thronebreaker you'll unlock a lot of extra stuff, including all the relevant Special Quests.
