Deathless Shard Selector Cost Decrease?

Does anyone think the 5,000 unit cost for the 7* Deathless shard selector will decrease prior to the introduction of Deathless Thanos? Debating whether I should spend the 5k units now or wait until it’s necessary to get Thanos, in hopes that it will decrease.

    No it won't. It's the price for not being able to get the pieces normally

    I sure hope so it’s not worth 5000 units just to get a **** piece from back when I was barely Cavalier back when Deathless Guillotine came out for the Battlegrounds. And then got to paragon shortly after the first WoW started. Now that I’m actually dominating SoS I’m just annoyed by the insane price point.

    The price of not being a longstanding or endgame player when the things designed for them were released.
