This GC meta is extremely unique and I think it’s awesome. Genuinely.

We finally get some completely different, and mostly unique defenders to get some use.
People also can’t just only use those big r3’s to get free wins, because some of them don’t work at all for this meta.
It’s the definition of needing to know how to deck craft, take good matchups and cause bad ones, and not rely solely on nuke champs to win.
Keep bringing nodes like this into the GC, it actually makes it truly competitive; and I absolutely love it.

Good gc meta except one thing, extend means Serpent's buffs almost will never end. Very fun and interactive.

This is the only bad part. I have him at sig 200A but I have him permabanned this meta. Inequity also kinda sucks but it’s fine, slows the nukes down a bit

Indeed, serpent is an instaban. Even with his counters this season, he’s pretty much impossible to beat this meta if he’s duped.
Wiccan has been instrumental in countering the non duped r3 ones, and it’s always fun to destroy them and surprise my opponents.

I had a friend of mine complain to me earlier about this meta, and proceed to say that he “refuses to change his deck to work with it”
Granted that this is a friend that has spent in just the past two months alone, around 3k to bolster his account.
I’m not making fun of him here at all, but with this GC meta especially- you absolutely have to deck craft for it. It’s such a nice breath of fresh air, for the same 4-5 broke offensive champs- just run through every fight with little to no issue. It feels as if this is one of the first metas in a very long time, that’s 100% dependent on knowing matchups and deck crafting.

I don’t mind this meta but I don’t love it. There’s like 15ish mvps this meta that you have to draft otherwise you’ll probably lose, and as a result you can get completely shafted just by bad draft rng. Most of the time that won’t happen, but because the meta mvps are all insta drafts you basically play the same matchups over and over again with little variety, it just gets repetitive.

It’s still been a fairly fun meta, just not a fan of how imbalanced it is.

Yes I have to take a serpent on bgs today and used abs man, like y'all know, abs man is literally the best attacker this season. Serpent was at 1% just after I launch the sp2, and his buff literally lasted for like 25 seconds no kidding. I chained two sp2 still he didn't die and ended up taking a sp3.

    I have a r3 serpent so yk I can't really ban him.

The Meta is cool but would be so much better if Galan and Ronan didn't exist

    Defines every single meta.

To an extent yes, but this meta take it further than most. Abs man, photon, Galan, and Ronan, are all instant round wins unless your opponent is using one of the same 4 champs. I expect metas to benefit some champs and make them usable or better than they previously were, but this meta makes it ridiculous.

It reminds me of that one vt meta we had where sunspot gained a million prowess and obliterated everything lol. It was way overkill.
