How about a crystal containing only the 2* champions that get released as specials, (like all those Spider-Verse characters, or Cap WW2) after 6 months have passed since they were specials.
Like, a crystal now, including the 2* Thor Jane, Groot, WW2 Cap, OML, X-23, Spider-Gwen, Netflix Daredevil, Sparky, et al, and then in April, the 2* exclusives from the Google Play monster crystal get added, and then in May, you add the 2* TR, etc.
Make it so they cost, say 75 units, and people who are desperate for more 2*s could buy them, or people who are completists that want every champ at every level they can get could buy them and all the haters who don't want 2* champs any more can ignore it.
That, or add the 2* exclusives to the 2* crystal in Crystal Splash and Summoner's Trials after 8 months.
