    What fights does he take? I’ve seen a 7 star (can’t remember if it was r2 or r3) take my ascended FAM in like 50 seconds and now I’m debating on if I should take him up or go for a more fun rank up like white magneto.

    He’s great for fam because once he gets his pierce up fam can’t glance, so it’s a very safe fight. He’s also pretty decent for red skull since his sp1 damage is burst which bypasses armors and he’s tanky enough to mitigate block damage.

    Generally in bgs his rotation is sp2 sp1 sp1 which takes about 60s, certainly not bad for a top defender. Although if your fam dropped in 50s it sounds like he only needed one sp1, so maybe with class advantage and punching down a bit he can get away with just one sp1. Pretty solid either way

    Just gonna add that lagacy said in his video from this morning that he would recommend r3ing maestro over any other cosmic in the game if you care about battlegrounds. So yea there ya go😉

    To add to @Nemesis_17 saying that he can take FAM and Red Skull,

    1. Mephisto: Incinerate immune, buffs aren’t affected by soul imprisonment. He can also take other mystics since his buffs become passive once Maestro enters superior rage
    2. Gorr: Maestro’s glancing prevents Gorr from inflicting his debuffs through block
    3. Peni Parker: Pierce allows Maestro to quickly take down Peni’s shield
    4. Hazard Shift: Maestro is Poison, Shock and Incinerate immune so he can take hazard shift fights
    5. Other tech champs: Maestro gains extra attack against Tech champs alongside the natural class advantage

    People are voting for recency bias. Maestro is a top top top defender. Only a couple champs can consistently take him down and even at that it buys you enough time to win a BG round

    Also to add to this, glancing also counters nodes that punish blocking, like kinetic reactor, kinetic transference, bubble shield, defective defense, etc.
