6* awakened or 7* unawakened photon?

As these things tend to go I recently duped and brought my 6* photon up to r3 sig 200, and then pulled a 7* photon. I mainly use her on bgs defense, but I have found her pretty fun on offense too. I'm trying to decide if I should now focus on taking the 6* to rank 4 or only focus on the 7*. I would think that she;s not as good on defense without the awakened ability. Is it worth ranking up the 7* if I'm mainly going to use her on defense (for now) or should I stay with the 6* till I awaken the 7*?

    Don't overthink I personally have more tough time with 7* r3 unduped photon compared to 6* r5 ascended sig200 photon. The more health bump is deadlier than sig ability

    The 6* is only r3. Invest in your 7*...that's the direction of the game. She's still a menace will have a higher attack and health. Being unawakend won't affect her much. And you might dupe her soon.

    Also since you have to bait heavies for openings most of the time, and have to block sp1s, The 7* block penetration stat really helps
