Game freezing has become totally unplayable

I don’t know what they changed in the update, but it CONSTANTLY freezes now, for 5-15 seconds at a time, in the middle of combos, as the defender is dashing in, etc. it makes this game absolutely unplayable and this is completely unacceptable. My phone has also been overheating just on even loading the game. There’s a major issue, idk if it’s a memory leak or just other poor optimization and resource management but for the first time since I’ve played this game in 9 years the game is in an unplayable state. iPhone XR
