I just bought 3 2*’s. Maxed them at r1. 5k per series at x1 multiplayer. That’s 200 series if I never get a higher multiplayer via streak(which obviously I will). And once I get to x3, it’s only about 60 series so it will probably be around 100-150 or less just guessing. So worst case scenario I think it’s doable over 7 days even with only 3 2*’s.

Yep! Just noticed that. I actually bought another round of 2*’s so I have 6 to start with. Even still, 300 units for a 5* is a fantastic deal and that’s not even taking into account the 150 or so units I’ll get back as milestones to offset that cost. Such a deal!

Yeah it is a pretty amazing arena. I am still glad I leveled a lot of my 2*s to R3/1 to get there faster Trying to bounce between MODOK LAB, Modok Hotel, and Arena the best I can (the Hotel thing is just to not waste the energy).

Yeah I had decent luck on my first 2 4*s as I got Agent Venom, Vulture, and Cyclops to start off but it soon turned sour and I have gotten trash since (She-Hulk and then Loki ). Well I did get cap the other day so that was back in the right direction.
Also I got Quake from the $1 crystal which I feel was bad luck compared to all others in the crystal... except Kingpin which had no business in that crystal IMO. But still happy to have Quake... just was hoping for my first God Tier 4*. Ah well
180k with a 14 streak in 40 minutes, first run through. Only have 2 maxed but most are at R2/1 so I will probably level up the heavy hitters just to make things a bit easier.

So...Round 1, 307k, 21 Matches. Would have been 317k, but I ate a couple L3s. Lol. The Rewards are real, but so is the lag. XD All-in-all, very doable without needing 3*s.
Everyone always looking for a handout lol....there are VERY few summoners that cannot achieve 1 million points in SEVEN damn days to nab a 5* crystal. Quit moaning and get in the arena.....

I think it's due to the fact that the arena was released to commemorate 1 million facebook likes (which didn't happen, but that was its original intention) and as such, they wanted to make it such that the final milestone landed square on the dot of 1 million to commemorate the achievement.
They probably planned the arena to give some damn good rewards for reaching that score, but heck, it would be a little too easy if they allowed all champions to fight in there. They want you to work for the arena, work for your rewards, go on the "road to a million", not a "jetpack to a million".
For heaven's sake, it's a 5* crystal for getting 500 fights in 7 days, or 72 fights in 1 day, which is 24 series. Just grind it out.

Yea I just continued grinding when I woke up and found that each fight was giving nearly 6k points (at 3x multiplier). I thought it was going to be the usual scores a 2* yields, which would be about 2000 at 3x multiplier. Apparently not the case, looks like it will take about 70-80 series for most people before they get a million, which is only half of what was mentioned.
So...12 series a day, or 36 fights. Not difficult at all, anyone wishing for 3* champs to be playable is a bit nuts unless they sold all their 2* champs, in which case that's the unfortunate price you have to pay for selling your 2* champs.

Adding 3* makes almost every 2* useless unless maxed out or a player is really good.
Except for those who sold 2* this is an arena that everyone can do and obtain rewards far in excess of what most see on a day to day basis.
