No rebalance for Serpent is actually a good thing

Rather than them spending time trying to figure out how to make up for nerfing him on defense attack wise, its better if they just focus on the rebalance for champs that actually need it like Negasonic or Sable.

2024 has been filled with dud attackers, rather than them trying to nerf the good defenders, its better the champs that are lacking in attack get the attention. Negasonic has the utility for skill defenders, but what good is it, if the damage is so abysmally low that she times out and does the fights a lot slower than non intended counters?

I hate to break it to you but look at Ironheart and Serpent, whatever it is you think is going to happen with all the other duds is just not going to happen. Maybe Sable but even that one isn't guaranteed lol.

There's a critical difference here though. Ironheart is not on the same level as Negasonic/Sable in terms off needed buff.

A simple search on the forums would reveal several threads complaining about Negasonic.
She was overhyped to us as this "big bad skill class destroyer" when in reality she hits like a tooth pick.

In fact there may have even been more threads on Negasonic than there were Serpent. Im not saying im in full support with the decision to leave Serpent untouched, what im saying is it can be seen as a Silver Lining because if they take away the 1 or 2 good defenders, then whats left of 2024? A bunch of weak attackers and overhyped utility ones?

Why are there still people thinking this company is on a small Indy game Developer Team size scale?! What do you think how many people are actually involved into a rebalance? 3, and on is on vacations?
    Layoffs, bugs, lack of communication...

Have you seen how many complaints there were about Serpent? They don't care about the complaints.

It would be bold of us to assume that will be the case, nothing they've done this year so far points at that being the case. Furthermore Negasonic Arcade and the rest of champs who need a damage bump are already hitting the target which was 3-3.5/5, I really don't see any of them getting buffed other than Sable.

Punk is supposed to be a 4.5/5, can’t wait to see how they try and justify that he’s hitting that target

Well if you can hit them with your sp1 during that extremely tight window between when you finish your sp2 and before the Ruptures expire before you gain a bar of power and get a clean hit off..duh!

The justification: it's locked behind sp3-sp2-sp1 rotation 5head

Besides the layoffs, nothing of this has something to do with the scale of a certain Team. It doesn't matter if the team has 3 or 15 people in it, if non of them are able to proper communicate, you wouldn't get more informations out of it. Same goes for bugs. It doesn't matter if the team is 20 or 50, the pure amount doesn't reflect the skill of the team by only throwing more people on it. At some point it's actually hurting the team, if you gonna put more people in it as needed.
And layoffs, no one knows which departments got affected by this. QA, PR, HR,....

The thing that hurts me is, these champs are not complete trash. They all have a perfect kit, just a few bumps here and there made them perfect meta attackers

Ironheart - energy resistance via sig instead of block prof. Better ways to refresh/pause her debuffs.
Destroyer - even a mild buff like getting 15 charges per hit of sp1 would be great, he already had the damage.
Negasonic - perfect champ, Just bump the incenerate numbers (not gonna happen).
Prowler - cowardice or heal block debuff instead of incenerate.

I've seen more negasonic in bgs compared to ironheart

NTW maybe maybe could use a little buff but crit focus and my 7* r3 is doing just fine even my 6*r5a was okay. I solo’d the destroyer SOS with NTW.

Serpent is a different beast though, most people focus on the power gain, but he’s immortal has a fat regen big resistances, one of the largest health pools in the game etc. it’s a big list for that character.

Enchantress seems like a dud now but a few have pointed out her as a tactic defender in the current meta looks like some impossible fights. (Her going unstable during heavies, any power gain node)

I’m a little lost with some of the new champs designs. When spider punk was released I questioned all of the up down inputs, I still haven’t had the opportunity to play him and now we have enchantress with MANY up down inputs. I wish they would have gave this new direction in champ design more time to sit with the player base before saying “THIS IS A SUCCESS LETS DO MORE.”

I am curious to see how many of these crazy defenders show up in future content

Now, you know DAMN well Negasonic is staying as is. You can thank the YouTubers for that because no matter how many threads we make on her complaining about how she hits like a wacky balloon, as long as the content creators see it as okay and make videos telling us why it's okay, kabam will see no problem.

kabam doesn’t listen to content creators, they were all complaining about serpent and he didn’t get touched

Ohh they don't when it's beneficial to the community. Where did they get the iron heart is a good champion narrative from?
I definitely remember watching a Simula67 video that @ItsClobberinTime recommended of r3 iron heart taking out a "RANK 5" photon in BG in 80 secs while he called her underrated. Where did they get the good on defense narrative from?. Also I've seen countless creators saying negasonics damage is fine. "NOTE: THEY ALL HAD HER AT R3". They do not directly take feedback from them( well some of them at least). CC are the voice of the community, they're who we watch for reviews on these champions, if they think a champion is okay even tho they're OBVIOUSLY underwhelming welp....
If I have alot to do and want to get things over with ASAP and 3 little random people are telling me I didn't do something well even tho I've already done it and someone with a respectable opinion who alot of people listen to tells me "it's okay as is" I'm obviously going to listen to the person.
For the serpent, I'm guessing kabam already figured with photon how used to her we are now and think we'll adapt the same way with serpent. We did complain about photon because she was the first, and it was also a good year for champions so we let it slide, now more viruses have emerged and kabam is expecting us to get used to it AS USUAL

Content creators are part of the problem. The same ones that hype these bad champions are the ones with unconventional rankups. Nagase has an r3 mangog and morbius

Well sure because not all people are gonna rank up meta relevant, conventional champions

Thats fine, nobody said anything about them not being allowed to. Its just that when they rank up those champs over meta ones, and then give inaccurate takes that "Negasonic is fine or broken" etc .

I would rather have someone that does meta rankups and places high in BGs circuit give their takes on new released champs. Im sure the majority would agree
