Viv Vision Stopped Nick's Decoy Life

While using VIV-VISION, I used medium combo with heal-block at 10% health and done a quick SP1 attack, Nick's decoy (2nd life) just reduced suddenly to 30% in second phase and he died instantly.

But i again attempted another play and tried same pattern and this time, Nick's decoy life bypasses 'heal-block' and he back to 100%.

Quite clueless how this mechanism works.. Does it really possible to totally shuts Nick's 2nd phase ??

The only automaticlly shut down nick 2nd phase that i know is Peni Parker, completely without bug. Then there is Dani Moonstar and Toad, which sometimes can shut down nick 2nd phase, sometimes not. It like you had to be precise with the last hit, like Dani, you need to kill Nick as soon as the marked show up, mean i had to sp him in 11% health, some time lime that. It so confusing

The thing with Nick’s second life is that he removes all effects on him, then rapidly regens - that removes any heal blocks, but if you can quickly reapply while he’s gaining life you can stop it. the timing is super tight though. (I’ve done it with Mysterio - trigger the LMD mid-combo and immediately do a light combo ender to heal block)

Common misconception: Dani’s marked passive does nothing to stop Nick’s second life. What she does to bypass it is her neuroshocks. She inflicts neuroshock debuffs on her specials, and they prevent healing from skill champs and are replaced with passives if removed for any reason other than natural expiry if duped. What happens is if Nick triggers his second life with neuroshock debuffs on him:
• The neuroshock debuffs are removed
• Neuroshock passives are inflicted instead if Dani is duped.
• The neuroshock passives stop Nick from healing and deal damage, instantly killing him.

Toad works pretty much the same way. You stack a bunch of poison debuffs, Nick purifies them when he triggers his second life, Toad replaces those poison debuffs with stronger poison passives, and the poison passives stifle Nick’s regen enough that he’ll be killed by the poison’s in short order.

Howard the duck does it too if you time the sp1. Viv could do it if you time her medium ending combo right. But your description sounds like a 🐞

Here's an idea for Kabam: They have the code for Tranquility node. Just input the code solely for Nick's second life. Tranquility removes ALL effects, so it should bypass heal blocks except passives, and then use the code to get Fury his Fury.

So it should go something like:

Second life activates:
If heal block passive active:
do not heal
else:
Tranquility
Gain Fury
