Decay tactic not working or Path 9 bug?

So on path 9 I had Void on my first lower node, then Attuma on the second. Neither are tactic defenders..so I went with Silk with the decay tactic for Void and Onslaught for Attuma. Silk melted like a snowman against Void. Within 30 secs, she had over 12 incinerate/poisons applied to her and that was it. After her untimely death..I tried using Onslaught against him..and to my surprise, Onslaught died from stacks of incinerate damage. After finally getting him down, I moved on to Attuma. I used Onlsaught against Attuma. The node says there is a 49% chance per hit to have an incinerate/poison applied. I have video, which I don't know how to upload here, that shows EVERY hit was getting an incinerate applied. So either I have the worst rng luck ever..or there's a bug. Any help..or tagging to someone to get it check out before war season starts is greatly appreciated. Thanks

2. attuma's ability accuracy can be increased if you stun him
Attuma is much simpler. He reverses the effects of ability accuracy modifications and usually has concussion debuffs on himself. If he has two of his personal concussions active (he starts with two at max sig), he gains +100% AA and thus has an 80% chance to trigger the hazard shift debuffs. If he has three or more, he has enough extra AA to guarantee them. If you’re using Onslaught against him you’re probably parrying him a ton and feeding him concussions, so him inflicting debuffs on every hit is actually expected.
You might want to recheck the 1st sentence.
It could be worse: you could have made a thread complaining about Spider-champs evading Venom on a Buffet node...
If you want some future advice, Void on hazard shift sorta requires full immunities, resistances like decay don’t cut it. Bring immunities to at least one hazard shift debuff, preferably both, and play around his personal debuffs like usual. Attuma is still Onslaught food on hazard shift, just make sure not to hit him while he inflicts poison debuffs because Onslaught can’t deal with those.
