Sooo…Nefaria Though 👀

Title says it all - the dude looks absolutely insane. Faster ramp up in his niche fights (power gain/regen), but can build up very easily to be a freakin’s powerhouse. Who else is excited?

Let the Ionic Era begin - Wonder Man, we’re waiting.

Completely agree. I’ve already been saving, sitting on almost four Titans right now 🫠 want dem Billy Bob sigs but now also Nefaria/his sigs. Hoping the last two champs are solid choices too!

I'm probably going to be opening Titans on Banquet after another Titan pool reset.

Isn't it too long to wait? And there is a possibility of getting more duds as well

The way I see it here’s who’ll be staying in the next pool update:

Silver Sable, Spider-Punk, Symbiote Supreme, Nova, Prowler, NTW

Patriot, The Leader, The Hood, Arcade, Superior Iron Man, Northstar

of which the duds are Sable, Nova (less dud than Sable tbh, plus pretty lights yay), and Arcade. Pretty much everyone else I’d be fine pulling. Sym Supreme, NTW dupe, The Leader, and Patriot are more eh, but still new/at least decent champs. Northstar I’d have fun with just hopping into longer fights to enjoy his kit.

As a result I’m willing to roll the dice with the next update. Worried about more duds in the next. Plus, the four entering are awesome, even Enchantress who I place in the Northstar camp offensively.

Yeah But enchantress is definitely good in defense. Not as good as people hype, but definitely have her utilities. I'll r3 if I get one.

Just another way of saying I agree with them, and they made a good point.

Oof. Big sad to hear. Thankfully we’ll have Nefaria who might be the most simple and potent power gain/regen counter in the game soon!

Nefaria is not going to be better for power gain and regen than leader, Leader is still by far the best at that because he has access to both by simply landing basic attacks.

Just to clarify Nefaria has ten times more raw damage than Leader and he will be better than him 100%, he might even make it to the top 10 in the science class because he really does pack a punch. Just saying for power gain and regen specifically, Leader's kit is still stronger.
Plus Nefaria doesn't rely on baiting tons of a specials until getting to a sp3 for damage. He has his damage from Sp1 into sp2.

Yeah I think Nefaria will be about Titania speed when it comes to his rotation which is VERY solid.

The other day when I gave my first thoughts I didn't realize that Chavez was 180k PI which is probably close to 1M health. He took off 33% with one sp1 sp2 rotation (which is about 330k, overkill against anyone that isn't Sassy or Man-Thing) and then he took off another 19% with one combo. He dealt over 500k damage, this means the fight is just immediately over after that one combo in BGs.
Just another Silk situation by the looks of it.

Yeah nefaria is definitely meta relevant. He also covers different ground compared to other science powerhouses. Energy damage + regen/power control + degen resistance. Can take out a lot of meta mystic defenders.

Yes getting champs like shatra and enchantress early would have a big impact. If you get enchantress by December, most players would have learnt by then how to handle her in defense.

But, if you aren't in a rush, waiting until December gives you the best value.

6* featured will be one different schedule. 6-8 new champs enter at a time.

He looks pretty cool. I’m more curious the cost tied to his 7*. My sense tingling say “$750 to $1000 minimum” but I guess we’ll see.

It’s crazy. I’m always managing my budget for other games, subscriptions and stuff but this is the only game where I rarely have any second thoughts on dropping a fat stack multiple times a year within 5-10 mins because I know if I don’t pick something up during a time-limited sale, I’m instantly at a disadvantage in this game.

I’m left with somewhat of a sour taste in my mouth with ALL the offers they’ve spit out this year, so I guess we’ll see Thursday if my habits change at all lol.

Meant to respond to this - def agree, The Leader’s power gain/regen potency is def gonna be the strongest, numbers wise.

What makes Nefaria so busted to me is how him denying the opponent power and regen feeds himself - truly leeching in such an insane way, feeding his loop in an almost endless cycle. The energy-vampire thing from the source material is being played so well here, stacking on top of his already insane resistances, attack increase, and synergy with Despair. His damage will just stay at a skyrocketed level (pretty sure we’re talking over 10k increased attack) and then the sustainability with the sig on TOP of his durability. He’s packed to the brim with it all with a gameplay style I love, which is making me so excited - my kinda champ, truly. So stoked to get him and rank him up ASAP.

But if enchantress loses her value that quick, then she was never meant to be a defender to begin with and one would regret investing resources into her when that time comes. Even onslaught at r3 survived the sos training kabam handed out
