    This is an interesting question, actually — I don’t hoard crystals, so I absolutely will be opening every crystal I get as we move forward.

    At the same time, I do understand, if you’re an extremely competitive player or in a top-tier alliance…this is a game of resource management. It absolutely is. Always has been. You always have to make choices about what you doing, what you are spending time and resources and gold to do.

    So I get it, if you’re not opening any/many. No shade from this direction

    I opened thousands of those arena boost crystals. Easy as to hit you participation target without a single hero crystal needed.

    I think rewards are good enough, better than nothing, I’ll be opening my 1000 for full milestones anyway

    I popped ~4k crystals I had sitting around (mainly t4cc, arena boosters, solo crystals). Just not anything I'd actually use like free crystals I'm stocking or the iso that I've got stashed for when I need it. What better time to pop them than now?
