Side quest path selector?

Anyone else not understanding this side quest gold coin path selector deal?
All the paths in threat level 5 seem to lead to the same rewards,…the 500 7 star shards and some other stuff,…am i missing something here?

I dont get either tbh i saw it and was like rewards are together unless that shouldnt be the case but seems odd

Yeah i’m not understanding,..it’s 3 paths all leading to the same rewards.
The coin selector lets you choose one of those paths leading to the only reward you would get from any of the three paths.
At least that’s what i am seeing visually.

There are some exploration rewards. That is the only reason I can see to make sure you use the selector/hit all the paths.

The rewards are in exploring. Use the random path first then the coins to pick the last 2.

And this is what i thought may be the case,..but sheesh,..considering the exploration rewards it’s seems kinda lame lol.

Yes, you will notice I didn’t say they were great. Just the only reason I can see for hitting all the paths.

Thanks for the feedback all.
Usually in these designed sort of quests they would have a path selector for something actually lucrative and to target (guess not this time).
