New level up Idea, and How to Fix the ISO crisis

Everyone at some point in the game has hit an iso drought, where you have too many characters to level up but no iso to level them up with. So allow me to pitch this incredibly original and novel idea to the mcoc community.
Allow characters to gain experience from fights or quests. Not enough to make iso irrelevant, but enough experience to allow people to circumvent that drought stage of the ISO economy. I feel like something as simple as a small experience boost from using unleveled characters can make general gameplay feel a bit more rewarding while also encoring some (like me) to use their 15 borderline garbage 7* champs.
If not experience for levels, a second (or third technically) way to rank/ level up champs could also be interesting. I feel like this could build off of the 7* system already in place with stat focus. Maybe make it so that stats have 1-5 levels that can only be increased by using said champion and winning fights with them, giving you a 5% or 10% boost to the stat focus rating per level. For example, at 5% per level, the special attack stat focus would be 8% at level 0/5, and goes up to 10% at level 5/5. It feels like a good addition to champion builds that couldn’t be circumvented by just spending money. It actively rewards you for using your characters in game, but isn’t so big as to be a necessity for every character.
If not that, perhaps just a quest that allows you to unlock a champions “stat potential” (doing the same thing as just leveling up the stat focus) by winning certain fights with said character. Perhaps something like the CCP test fights… fight through 5 champs at different health pool sizes to unlock your full stat focus, then leave it open for general champion testing.

Also they have already solved iso draught for players that must level up all champs at once, level up with units!
