this also isn’t a starky exclusive bug I have got it to work on spider gwen too, however haven’t replicated on any champ who isnt a small, but not all small champs have it

Weird i was dexing at wall and had no bleed damage

I tried this out with a couple different champions (Man-thing, Rocket, Classic Spidey) and could not get bleed to trigger even if I spent 30 seconds dexing against the wall. However, I did get it to trigger once or twice trying it with Starky as you did so there’s definitely something going on there.

If I had to hazard a guess it may have something to do with evade; Bullseye inflicts bleed if an attack is evaded, even if it was a basic attack. Perhaps if you dex an attack the game may still register a successful or failed attempt to evade, and if it would have been successful Bullseye notices and triggers his bleed because you “evaded” him. Doesn’t necessarily explain why I couldn’t replicate it with Classic Spidey since he evades too but maybe I was just lucky. Either way seems like a bug that needs fixing.

This could be a thing for sure the game registers it as an evade even though a dex hence bleed but yeah it would still be a bug since unless the champ does evade on there own and not by a dex

Definitely agree, this is still 100% a bug. Just trying to come up with an explanation for the seeming inconsistency. If someone can get it to trigger with a champ that doesn’t evade then there goes my theory, but rn the bug has only been claimed to occur with Starky and Gwen who both evade basics so it seems like a reasonable guess.

Update: couldn’t get it to work with Mojo or Scorp. Interestingly I did get it to work with Nightcrawler… but ONLY in neyaphem stance where he has a chance to evade. If I switched to swashbuckling stance the bug stopped occurring. I do think this is a bugged interaction with evade and dex.

Kept trying with Classic Spidey but the bleed just wouldn’t happen with him. This obviously means he is the superior spider character. Jokes aside, I think that actually reinforces my theory bc Classic Spidey has a “spider-sense” icon and callout that triggers when he would evade. It used to trigger even when stunned and dexing despite the fact he obviously couldn’t and didn’t evade during those times, but Kabam put out a big fix that stopped that from occurring. Seems possible that that same patch effectively stopped him from even attempting to evade in such circumstances, thus Bullseye has no “evade” to punish like he does with the others.

The ridiculous things is they only fix the bug which is benefit players lol like Moleman, Kingpin… meanwhile there are tons of bugs like Dust, Galan, Titania… they don’t even bother take a look on it! What a company!
