Why is there an option in sq to spend tokens, that can be used in store for a 7 star?

Am I missing something obvious here?

Spend one token to choose a lane in side quest , to help get exploration which rewards some t6cc.

Or save 18 and get a 7 star.

Why is this even an option? Why use the same currency here? Someone is going to accidentally use their tokens on a lane choice and then check the store..and be really disappointed.

    they're different coins i believe but look similar. the gold one is to hand pick lanes for exploration and there's a separate "medallion" for chee. it's a little confusing.

    They are different tokens for choosing lane and for the 7*

    But the golden medallion that we require 18 for 7* cheeilth

    that 1 can be traded for 1k mysterium

    someone can accidentally buy that
