Reparry issue with mantis

So I was playing bgs as you do and I placed my mantis on attack and the defender reparried me. Mantis’s thing is hitting into the block while they have an intimidate to get mixed emotions on the defender. This has happened twice in the past day and I have never had issues with it before.
