Market points issue

Actually guys it's been like more than 2 weeks since I have been using MCOC webstore to see the deals and collect the free stuff more specifically the daily 2 market points on daily basis and i have collected like 3 weekly 6 points with other available free stuff.....so here comes the issue now when the new event of glorious reward is there on the webstore i can't claim the rewards that i should be able to for how much market points I have collected in the last 2+ weeks (daily)...and also i haven't been able to grab the 5k 5 star shards from the Market points event on the webstore even though I should be able to get them now but it still shows that I need like 8 more points which shouldn't be the case.....so where are my Market points? .. please help me kabam team i really need them rewards!

You don't accumulate market points indefinitely and they are not a currency. They apply only to the active promotions. The one involving the 5k 5* shards resets weekly, so your market points only accumulate in that each week. It takes 20 points to get to, and you 2 free points per day plus a 6 point chunk once per week. If you miss even one day, you won't get it.
Only the points that you've claimed since the other event started have counted toward that event, which will soon go away.

Ooo! thanks..dude for the info .... sorry I didn't know about the resetting thing.
But I have a question for my better understanding..if to you don't mind answering..like if I have accumulated 16 points till the end of week will those points reset to zero in the next week?

Market points reset with event resets. Whatever you have accumulated in each individual event will expire when the event expires, but the events do not impact one another. So when the Count Nefaria expires in 2 days, those points will go away, but they will not impact your points accumulated in the market bonus event. The market bonus event resets each Monday, so any points you've accumulated there will stay until then. If any other event is added, then you will earn points there accordingly as you claim them and within it's given timeline.

There is a timer at the top of the events so you can track when they finish/reset.
