sp3 knock down

is the sp3 supposed to work like it knocks down the opponent before the special happen. in act 9.1 there is a path with the need for 3 debuffs in combination with debuff immune on knock down. the sp3 doesnt do damage like there are not enough debuffs where there are.so clearly the knock down debuff immune already triggered the moment the special is activated, not after when the opponent is knocked down.
