Dr doom Rank up/comparison question

I have 5* Doom maxed, ascended, and 200 sig. I just pulled a 6* doom.
Is it worth ranking up the 6* at all?

Absolutely. Not sure where you are content wise but the stat boosts on the 6* will be more important than the sig long term. And I doubt he'll be a 7* too soon
