Daily Special Stamps

After the new change to the stamps bought in the unit store, I remember there being an option to trade in all your stamp types for the new daily special stamps. Although I did trade about half of my stamps already, I went back in a few days ago to trade in the rest. To my surprise, the trading option wasn’t there anymore, and hasn’t been since. I do not recall there being a time limit above the trade in option, but I could be mistaken. Although I did wish to keep one of each, as novelty or a souvenir, I’m now stuck with the tickets and have no new tickets. I’m not an average spender and only wish to spend on the PlatPool Pass. Is there any way I could trade these extra tickets in?

There was a one week timer on the trade in. I've seen some reference from a guardian that the tickets will auto convert at some point, but I don't know if that's true or when it would be.
