The whole point of this community realm event is to push more people to get involved and push those who already play the content to go above their norm.
This just going to do that, this is basically replacing solo with a different event. Yes, it is more rewards, but those of us who push anyway will still push and more might get involved but nobody is going to ho above the norm.
The solo & alliance events still need to be active so this is extra.
The Crypt was perfect, players such as steamer were always going to rush to 100% but the crypt pushed a lot more people to get involved sooner than they would have and pushed people to do more than just the one path; learn from the things you do right Kabam, copy and paste, don't deviate from the path

Plus, they added that back so they can do the same with solo but I also know they probably won't
