What’s up with these relic crystals?

Why is it every relic crystal i open is one of the same 3-4 relics. I sell more embers than i use, so when are we going to get a bigger pool because i like the relics they were a great addition but I’d like to be able to work on ranking up relics and maybe get some new ones.
