7 star selector frozen

So I picked Thing, and now I am stuck on the home screen with a never ending spinning wheel. Does this mean this is bugged and I lose everything if I restart the game?

Not a network issue, for those thinking.

    I bit the bullet and restarted the game.

    Thankfully the Thing is there.

    If it happens to anyone else, you can safely restart the game.

    Nope. I had the selector freeze. Restarted game. It popped up when I logged on. Selected Thing. Spinning wheel started. Restarted game. No Thing. Half a day later, still no Thing.

    This happened to me after I selected a champ too. Game froze and I had to restart but I got the champ I chose.

    Unlucky.
    If you were lucky the bug would happen and you could select another after restart, or even dupe him.
