Lost units healing a champ because game froze

I was inside a quest, had low health and tried to heal with those level 3 quick heal health potion...pushed the button multiple times nothing happened...game was frozen and after a minute a few hundred units were lost because the game healed my champ multiple times...this is so not fair..please help..
