Someone please ELI5 the side quest with pictures of which one to do first

Didn't kabam say their side quests will be simpler? This is literally the most confusing side quest ever. I have no clue how to access these 25 elite bounty tickets. I don't know where to even begin. I'm just absolutely lost

Which do I do first. Which currency do I need to get first. Which one is second, or third or fourth? How do I get these 25 sinister tickets. There's 3 solo events, multiple side quests, multiple currencies. How is this simpler than before. I'm incredibly frustrated because I feel like I will miss out on 7* sinister.

There are two different side quests: the true side quest (Jack's Bounty), and the bounty event for the alliance super season.

For Jack's Bounty, you collect entries through the calendar that also has the Cav shards in it and the goal is to explore each quest each week. Rewards do not reset.



For the bounty event, you earn entries through an alliance event that you contribute to by playing alliance content, plus BG and incursions.
The rewards in the bounty event are predetermined, so fight whoever you feel like. It won't change your rewards. The rewards here do reset and you can repeat fights. Doing different fights only gets you extra profile pictures. There are no rewards for exploration.



Completing 5 bounties in a week will earn you an epic bounty entry. We don't know for certain, but it is likely that we want to take on all 4 fights over the course of the month. That is where the banquet tickets are.



Completing any bounty fights will contribute to the Bounty Targets objective for Cav crystals, and completing any of the above mentioned content (bounties, alliance content, BG and Incursions), will contribute toward the Alliance Super Season Objective.

What's the event called? I don't see any alliance events related to bounties. If I open Alliance Events tab, I see summoner advancement, summoner engagement, the Deadpool super season and BGs solo event.

Can I do threat level 1 regular bounty missions to get entries to threat level 5 elite bounty or do they both need to be level 5? My goal is to get just the sinister tickets so I think the regular bounty missions don't have them, is that right?

Earning points toward the epic bounty entry does not specify a certain threat level, but I can't answer for certain as I have only done level 5 anyway. The fights are not difficult and it only takes a minute to clear a bounty, so if you can do level 5 just do it.

And that is correct. Regular bounties do not have the banquet tickets, only the epic bounties. I am not sure if they are only in level 5 or not though, and I won't be going lower than level 5 anyway so I won't be able to give a better answer on that.

So to recap to get it straightened in my head. To get the sinister tickets:

1) do alliance stuff like aw aq whatever. This unlock blue drones which gives a target
2) do bounty mission side quest 5x
3) doing it 5 times earns 1 entry to the elite bounty which I can do once per week? This gives sinister tickets

Yes. The elite entries are gated in weekly objectives, so you can get an entry in 5 days, but then you have to wait another 2 for the objective to reset, then rinse and repeat.

Just make sure to do the elite bounty on threat lvl5 as only those chest have the tickets some ppl did lower difficulty and didn't get the tickets

@KabamDORK a humble suggestion to flag this thread for whoever designs the side quests. This is a perfect encapsulation of the player experience.

It seems as if Kabam’s design goal is to drive continual / daily player engagement through the side quests. If that’s the case, there are better and simpler ways to do it so we spend more time enjoying the process of actually playing the game and less time wondering if we missed something, where the rewards are, which key does what, etc. I’m sure there’s a subset of people on the forum who would be happy to provide suggestions or feedback if it would be helpful. The design team clearly puts a lot of time into these events. And when they are announced, I think there’s a lot of excitement from the players — “Cool, there’s going to be lots of stuff to do / earn.” But once the event gets rolling, most of that positive sentiment is eroded by the daily uncertainty and confusion over the structure.
