Which mystic would you R3?

With the completion of the SoS Gauntlet I’ll be ready for my next R3, which is going to be a Mystic.

My only current Mystic R3 is Sassy who is a great dual threat, so looking for offense or another dual threat for my next one.

Of my R1s, my Duped sig 40 Kushala is the one I am most seriously considering. My only slight hesitation is that I’ve already got an R5 ascended 6*. That said, I definitely like my Kushala so could easily see R3ng her anyway.

Of the current R2’s, I’m not really sure Juggs needs it - although he would be the fun choice. Had sort of wanted to have him duped before I took him to R3. Just pulled Hood today so he’s now in the running as well. Been having fun with White tiger but can’t say that I’m super skilled with her. Chavez is great obviously but I’d also was hoping to have her duped before R3.

Wiccan, chavez and juggernaut are great choices in my opinion.

I have both Chavez and kushala (duped) at r3, both are great. But given you have 6r6 kushala, so there's no reason to rank up a 7*. Hood needs high sig. Don't know anything about tiger.

Juggs is a great BG nuke, but Chavez and Wiccan have plenty of utility as well. They're all pretty solid choices honestly

May be slightly leaning towards Chavez as I’ve already got a maxed out Kushala.

How do you all feel about Chavez unawakened? Still worth the investment?

If you already have 6* kush definitely go for chavez.


Chavez doesn't really need awakening at r3.

If you recall a previous thread of mine comparing Sassy and Chavez, I mentioned that I was holding out on r3ing Chavez in case I duped Sassy (had a mystic gem) . I ended up just r3ing Chavez and I don't regret it one bit.

You already have Kushala as a maxed out 6* and her max sig makes the playstyle a lot smoother and easier to flow.

The main reason i r3ed Chavez was because of Serpent (shes the best counter simply put) , but she has a lot of hidden utility in the form of no buffs or no debuffs making her work for a ton of metas, and if the defender or node does have buffs shes on another level. Easy access heavies opens up a lot of things like countering maw, protection heavy nodes, Enchantress/Dust etc

Yes Kushala should be next. Not only can she take most cosmics but also defenders like Bishop and Nick as well
