I would’ve preferred other champs over a Black Panther 2.0, who we already have as a a 7* in the basic pool, no disrespect whatsoever to Black Panther.

I’d rather get my hands on a buffed Kraven, Deadpool, Taskmaster or Night Thrasher. They did Kraven so dirty, plus the movies coming out soon.

If I was to pick a Panther it would be civil war, the design is much nicer, however, this is gonna be a wild hot take, but Civil War doesn’t need the buff, I can imagine him as a 6* R5 Ascended, I think he could be a defensive monster, everyone messes up the sp1 and will take a bit of damage from it, and if he came into the 7* basic tomorrow and I magically pulled him, I wouldn’t be mad at all.

Not on the levels of Serpent and Bullseye no, but he can put up a fight in battlegrounds for sure.

His buff was actually planned years ago when Chadwick boseman died. But for some reasons they slept on the project. So, he is one of those champs who deserves to be buffed.

Buffing champs who are kinda okay already iseasy, Compared to buffing ultra mid characters like winter Soldier who needs full rework.

Hot take indeed. Dexing his sp1 hasn’t been a real problem for years, and damage reflect only matters if you get hit. Besides that he reflects stuns and absorbs heavies while he has an armor up buff, but we’ve got so many counters to that these days. I’m not scared of BPCW in a day and age that has monsters like Galan, CGR, and Tigra, plus we now have Scream and a buffed Medusa. Coupled with his anemic damage and lack of utility, I can think of very few 7*s in the current pool I’d want less than a hypothetical BPCW.

Red Magneto's Sp 2 inflicts armor breaks. White Magneto's Sp 1 does it also.
