Is it possible to get Valiant before Banquet?

I just beat Bahamet after a long time of procrastinating, and I’m 100% sure I can beat Cerastes before Banquet rolls around. However, for Valiant I also need two Rank 3 7*’s, of which I currently have none.

Out of all the resources I need I’m only really worried about the T4 Alpha catalysts. There are several easily accessible sources in the game for T6 Class catalysts and everything else I have more than enough of. For T4 Alphas, though, I only have about 2.7 of the 6 total I need for two rank 3s.

Is there any possibility I can get the remaining amount I need before Banquet? Or am I going to have to rely on the Banquet deals to reach Valiant and end up missing out on the Valiant-level deals?

    There’s really 2 ways, you fully explore necro and through the next weeks buy the t4 frags from the glory store, which might give it to you in not sure. Or you can fully explore necro and act 8 I believe. I’m not too sure though, that’s just what I’ve heard.

    He could do Necro completion and then buy the remaining frags.

    Or any 2 of: 1 path necro, crucible explore, 9.1 explore

    Alright, so after reading everyone’s replies here I think I might be able to do it through Crucible exploration and maybe the glory store. Necro, Act 8 and 9.1 exploration would (I think) take far too long for me to do (as well as far too much effort for a little over a month)

    I took a quick look through the Crucible fights and without reading the nodes, only one of them stood out to me:



    This guy has been a pretty consistent ban for me in Battlegrounds since I don’t have many answers to him in my roster. However, with the poison vulnerability node, do you think a 7* rank 1 Mysterio might be able to take this fight? He has both heal block and poison so he has the utility necessary, I’m just worried about his damage not being enough to close out the fight

    Think a r4 5* is pretty much a 6* r1, so you might be good at r4, but r5 to secure it would be nice.

    Exploring most of Act 8 and 9.1 doesn't take that long at all because each map is only 3 paths from 8.3 onwards.

    Ascend her if you can, the higher the better for a 5*. I used a few 5*s in crucible but no LDS, I would try to aim r5 ascended with as much sig as you can. The more sigs she has, the more damage

    act 9 explore and crucible, you can get valiant fast

    Explore act 9. It gives you one r3. Then buy the remaining cats from glory store. Good luck.

    Thanks for the encouragement everyone! I guess I’ll get past Act 8 first and then take a look at Act 9 before deciding between it and Crucible, although either way it’s looking very possible

    There are a few r3 gems in the game: act 8 exploration, 9.1 exploration, crucible exploration, necro completion. You can do any 2 of them to become valiant
