Do the Saga rank up Gems Expire?

Sorry to make a whole thread on this but I was curious if anyone knew if the saga rank up gems expire. Like when we go to the next saga and I haven’t used the gem will I be able to still come back and r2 my Shathra if I decide. I was still seeing if I pulled Nefaria in the February titan update or if I pulled silk from a basic. Then I’ll get the sinister from the bundle so I’ll have some choices

Next question, who are you r2ing or r3ing, and if all, which first - Nefaria, Shathra, Silk, Sinister, White Tiger

    1) saga gems dont expire and you can use even after the event ends, but the current saga gem (glorious games) can only be used on champs of same saga.

    2) silk, by a kilometre, by a mile.

    Ok cool. Yeah I knew you could only use them on this sagas champions.

    So if I don’t end up pulling silk until later on, I wanted to take a few to r2 anyway. Shathra and Sinister I presume? Or nefaria and Shathra or? Idk when I’ll be able to awaken sinister tho bc it doesn’t come with an awakening gem I don’t think (even tho it might should lol)

    I r2ed my silk, gave her incursions sigs. Will r3 her when BG’s store refresh and I can buy 1 more t6 science. I will also give her the sinister bundle sigs
