Which Champion is good for newbie?

I start few hours later and I'm new in This game. I want which hero is good for new comers. I have one 4 star Groot and few 3 star champs. Which one is good for me for events and stages.

Welcome to the MCoC Universe, congrats on your 1st 4* champs in GROOT, he is the most powerful tree in the Universe, he'll rock your world. Joke aside, groot is actually just an average champ at best. Good for AW defence in lower tier, never a consideration for attack.

For your reference, top champs per CLASS:
1) Mutant : Iceman, Archangel, Wolverine, X23, Rogue
2) Skill : Blade, Gwenpool, Crossbone, Elektra, Hawkeye (for power control) ... potentially Taskmaster
3) Science : Hulk, Quake, Cap America WWII, Cap America ... awaken Spidey is good for defence
4) Mystic : Voodoo, Magik, Ghost Rider, Dormammu, Scarlet Witch (almost all mystic class are from good to God-tier)
5) Cosmic : Hyperion, Angela, Medusa, Hela, Cap Marvel, Ms Marvel (not Kamala Khan)
6) Tech : Star Lord, Stark Spider, Ultron, Vision (both OG & AoU), Doc Oc ... also worth mentioning Nebula, Yondu, R.Racoon

Wow! You are just starting and already have a 4* champ. My first 4* was only when I reached + level 35.

Anyway, rank Groot to 3/30, he will help a lot in Act 1.

Yeah it took me forever to get 4*. Now the second account I made for fun has 2 4* (Howard and OML) at like summoner level 9. Times are a-changing

4* Groot is not bad. It will help u progress through the earlier contents.
