Gahh why do so many people think difficulty automatically = good? Tough content can be well designed, but it can also be terribly designed. The difficulty is not what determines how good or bad something is, there’s a multitude of different factors responsible for that.
It’s this same logic that leads people to unironically think serpent is healthy for the game because he’s difficult lol.
Seems the like the overall theme of 9.2 is how to stop summoners doing damage. Do something in a specific order with these conditions or else you are doing zeros. No Striker - zero damage as you can't remove certain protection without it too many Buffs - zero damage if you don't throw striker at specific buff count.
Halfway through on completion. Scourge very tricky to manage but once you do, damage is pretty good. What I don’t like so far is unblockable and unstoppable nodes used once too often. 9.2.3 scourge path is very tough and would be good if it can be tuned down
I haven't been invited to the 9.2 beta, but just from the screenshots alone I can tell how much of a pain in the a** its going to be when it gets released. Scourge nodes have always been the most annoying to manage and read through for me, and the fact that playing through a story quest is becoming more and more of a chore is really concerning.

"just read the node and play with the node" is exactly my point, reading them and understanding what needs to be done takes so long its tedious. im mid fight and so much is happening i already forgot how to remove scourge charges, let alone all the autoblock evade unstoppable unblockable its just not fun content anymore so much to read and nothing's memorable. act6 was difficult and actually interesting this is just slapping nodes hoping they work together

Now hold on, the first few chapters of Act 6 were absolutely just slapping nodes together and hoping they work together. If not that, then they were node combos designed to have no counter and just kill you. It had every bs defender with every bs node they could muster. There’s a reason so many players simply have never completed Act 6, and it’s not just lackluster rewards. Every time someone tells me that Act 6 was interesting and fair I have to ask if they actually played it pre-nerf because even post-nerf it’s not exactly fun.
I’m slowly working through the beta myself. I don’t hate scourge nodes as much as others here do, although I definitely have some gripes with a few of them. I mostly just want smaller healthpools. 9.1 was a slog because the fights took so long even if they weren’t difficult, and 9.2 doesn’t seem to address this enough. You can make me work for my wins without making me trudge through them for 5-10 minutes. It makes me feel pressured to use my nukes to get things done reasonably fast instead of actually having fun with whatever champ I want.

It's not about challenge it's about the nodes just being bad and the fact that ai is still horrible which makes the fights feel unnecessarily lengthy and annoying especially the rinthrah boss ai in the 1st quest that thing only has heavy spam coded in it the content isn't hard it's just feels like rather annoying and lengthy
I liked the scourge nodes. There's a great payoff. You can get rid of half the health of the opponent with just one scourge burst
Ive only done 2 so far and the 9.2 one with riot some of the specials like she hulks you couldn't even heavy punish . Idk how impractical/feasible the other ones are

Avg fight time in 9.2 is 3-4 min u couldn't remember for 4 min 🤷 that's not the game fault

Total of 18 paths where 2/3 are basically the same. If it’s gonna take you forever to get the content out put some effort and thought stop being lazy story has gotten stupid boring cause each quest is just new champs slight tweaks to the nodes, and a new special boss to end the chapter
