Will I at least get 30 banquet tickets if I start collecting them now

Logged in after few months and saw banquet event but my alliance buddies told me I won't be able to claim most of them

I'm cavalier so if I start now, how many banquet tickets can I get?

There are currently 20 tickets outstanding (four royal hunt fights) and 25 to come.
You need access to 6.4 for the royal hunt fights though. If you're only Cav, then you're most likely out of luck.

Do you have the royal hunt objectives now? If so, you don't have to be thronebreaker. You just need access to all the chapters in 6.4, so you will have had to complete as far as 6.4.5 so that 6.4.6 is unlocked.

Then yes, you will have to unlock thronebreaker. There are only 15 remaining tickets available otherwise, which will be available next month.
