Black Friday 7* AG.....shards? So now we have to collect shards to fully form an Awakening Gem?

7* AG shards?? What's going on here? We've never had to collect Awakening Gem shards before. If it's about maintaining a stream of money, then I think this is completely unecessary. The highly anticipated 7* AG could have been placed in bundles. Whales and "Orcas" would have had no problem buying all of the deals to get to the 7* AG.

And exactly how many does it take to fully form a 7* AG? I didn't see info on that. All it says is "collect shards to from a new crystal" just like it does with other crystals. Does it take 10,000 shards, or 20,000 like the Titan crystal? Does buying all of the Odins guarantee a fully formed 7* AG, or half of one and the rest of the sharda have to be acquired somewhere else?

Either way, I hope this isn't a permanent direction the game is going in.

You get 10k total for buying all 4 Odin. And it's just enough to form the gem. Wich seems odd to me because that's 10k shard to awaken a 7* but 15k to open a basic 7*? Math is off tbh.

It is also placed in bundles, you can spend 21k units to get an AG crystal or saga AG

I really hope it's a typo and not actually shards for an ag crystal lmaoo.

Made a poll for it here. This basically indirectly confirms that in 2025 theyll have a bunch of offers for these shards, slowly diminishing the value of the current most rare resource in game.

They should've just kept it like they did for 6* with Abyss and challenging content to obtain. Shards shifts the teeter totter towards heavy spenders over content completers

Awful choice. Why do we now have to gain shards for awakening gem. Keep the shard Sh to champions.

It’s not. You get the 10k shards needed from buying 4 Odins.

Yeah I feel like it's a bad move but on the flip side you can expect few shards in maybe like monthly sq. So you can slowly accumulate these shards to open a ag crystal.

So i just realized this is basically a bad move by them, because not everyone is dropping $400 on a mobile game for a gem that they could very well awaken fhe champ in the next crystal naturally.

But , now that theyve made it like this, they'll have to keep on adding AG shards because most spenders will buy just 1 maybe 2 odins, which means they'll need more shards to form the crystal.

They really shouldve thought this through more

I found them. They're in the Shards tab, and are class AG's. So they're RNG and we're not even guranteed to get the same shards everytime. Smh! Wtf is this Kabam done pulled? 😂

From what I can see, the way it works is you get 2500 shards per Odin. You buy 4 Odins and you have 10000 shards. Then you turn in the shards for a class AG. So, you are guaranteed an AG but it is random which class you get. The shards aren’t class shards.

Regarding the store pic posted. It only mentions 20k 7 star shards and not the choice between those and the class nexus. Do we still get those 2 options when buying it in the online store?

Exactly. This is so absurd. I can't imagine what it will be like to get a generic AG 😂😂😂

Yeah I see that on second thought lol.

And also, with this "recent" discovery, didn't they just pretty much introduce a 7* AG, but just behind 4 Odins? So instead of it being introduced for free in Act 9 quests, it's in Cyber for $400.

L move by Kabam. R3 7 stars have been a thing for over a year and they STILL don't want to give us an awakening gem fully formed?

I don't get it, it's like they realised they were accelerating the game economy too fast when they brought out necro and now they are putting a stick in the spokes.

I like the idea. It means they can sprinkle out shards in a lot more content that would otherwise have nothing to do with a 7* awakening gem. We could potentially even see small amounts in future side quests. I think it gives them a lot more leeway with how that particular resource. It doesn't just have to be at the end of whatever new Everest content is coming next.

    I think that's a good thing.

No it’s like 7 stars have been around a lot longer than 7* awakening gems, which is why the gems are scarce. People who have this “I need this and I need this now” attitude would probably fail as game developers themselves. This time next year, you’ll complain about something else even though awakening gems will be more common

    It's brilliant.
Im going to assume these shards will be coming to content. Easier for f2p to get access in future.
