Well i went back and re watch the deep dive and took another look at the champion spotlight.

I don't like this damage. In his current state, you gotta sp1 twice to get your 8 furies so you can start hitting hard. Why is this the case? This is Deathless Thanos! and the was portrayed to us to be an OP Meta Attacker. Why is his attack rating so low without furies??? why do we need to develop him before he start hitting hard. His base kit is supposed to be hitting hard from the get go without needing a couple of sp1 to ramp up his dmg.

Also why is his kit centered around the armor break/armor shattered? was he designed specially to deal with tech champs like Red Skull and Future Ant-Man?? Kabam told us he was going to be a powerful Meta Attacker across the board. Damage is the best utility, and damage wise i don't know if he's even better than Hercules or Hulkling, let alone CGR in the cosmic department.

Of course these are my first impression and not liking his damage compared to other OP attackers.

    A few things:
    • Who says that Thanos needs to max out his fury buffs to end fights? Not the deep dive, which makes an explicit note that you can potentially just get 4 furies off one sp1 and go for a knockout sp2 immediately. Will that actually be the case? We’ll have to see in January when he releases, but it may very well be true.
    • Even if you do need to sp1 twice, Thanos has an indefinite energize buff so he can throw them out a bit faster than the average champ.
    • What’s wrong with having armor breaks? There’s not that many immunities to it, and his is very potent. If CGR can get by off of massive armor break damage and be called one of the best meta nukes, I’m not sure why it’s a disqualifying factor for Thanos here.

Of the three current deathless, what is everyone’s r3 priority? Can’t decide between KG and Guilly.

I’d say King Groot as so far he seems to be the best. We’ll have to see how good is D-She Hulk. Thanos is definitely r3 worthy

Armor Break is generally a very good damage source that is not damage over time. Combining the massive armor break with the furies, and he hits very hard after 1-2 specials. Not CGR level but not bad either. Plus he is a dual threat as well with 4/5 on defense.

He looks fun - should have great utility, decent damage and defenses.

However, my first thought whilst reading his Weaknesses section...

... was that Chee'ilth sounds perfect for him.

Cleanse/Tranquilise, Grit, Regenerates physical damage effects, and inflicts a load of Bleed damage which he isn't immune to, and can shut down his regeneration using Despair mastery...

Cgr is literally the best attacker in game for short fights and his damage come from armor breaks. Thanos will survive

His specials don’t look too easy to punish though
